Is this possible and if so how? I haven't found anything that suggests it's possible .

ooops, forgot to say for w810i ... i have a samsung wep200 headset

Actually, I am doing that right now. I'm listening to some music on my HT820 stereo headset via bluetooth. My phone is a K790, which is A2DP enabled.

I dont suppose this is possible with the W880i?

sorry to inform you but you cannot listeb to music over bluetooth with the w810i. the phone does not support the proper bluetooth profile.

Posted by: bigb252

Also, your WEP200 isn't a bluetooth stereo headset.

810 is missing A2DP. pisses me off.

Posted by: bigb252

w810 doesn't have A2DP, and the Samsung WEP200 isn't a bluetooth Stereo headset. So neither would work.

I did have a program where I could use my headset as a computer mic, I think it was called Bluesoleil but there was lag between them...

You can listen to it on the w810i, you would just need an A2DP adaptor. I used the Sony TMR BT-10 when I had my w810i. I paired 'em with the Motorola S9 head set with no problems. It was just alot of stuff to deal with, but it worked fine. I still use the TMR BT-10 with my laptop....

I thought about doing that but with all of the cords n stuff it would be easier to use a wired headset.

Yeah, it comes in handy here and there. I don't have a car, so I get around by bike and skateboard and at that time, I can just throw the phone and all the chords in my backpack and not worryt about wires during my commute. If the w810i only had A2DP right?

Is there any other possible way to enable the right stereo profile for music listening? I've been meaning to get bluetooth headphones for the w810i, the wires are kinda annoying.

Sorry mate. The W810i doesn't support A2DP. I looked around for ages when I had my W810i as my main phone... You should just get a K800i I got one a few weeks ago, and that supports A2DP. I've yet to get a pair of stereo bluetooth headsets though.

I'm thinking of those Sony Ericsson bluetooth headsets. The one which you wear around your neck as a pendant. What do you guys think? Worth it?

The new one that was annouced on May 8 looks pretty good. Rumor mill has it that they might be coming out with another one that has a 3.5mm audio jack.

If that's the case, i'll more than likely shelve my R35 for that model! i wonder if SE will ever release a "Sport" version (waterproof, impact resistant, etc.)?

Hey I just recently bought the moto ht820 bluetooth headphones to go with my SE k790a and Im having trouble getting them to pair. I thought the k790 was compatible with the headphones????

I currently have the S.e. Z710i with the S.e. HBH-DS970 bluetooth headset. Works great. Only problem is if you have the tendency of putting your phone down a lot be careful.

Fast story. One day I was at work. I was sitting at my desk. The day was going slow so I pop in my headphones, then someone tells me they need something going up to 10th floor on the elevator. As soon as the elevator door shuts my bluetooth loses range from the Z710i which is still at my desk. As the default setting the music starts playing loudly in the office over the speaker on the back of my phone. So my message to you is bluetooth is nice but you have to remember everytime you have something going on between the phone and it to check the phone and shut off that function before you go too far. By the time I got back my co-worker had powered my phone off.

haha - thats a good one.

Did you have gangsta rap playing in the office?

LOL - I work in an office with quite a few women, so I would have been canned that day prob. if I was playing those lyrics...

The spot I went wrong was I pulled the earbuds out of my ears the second one of the boss "higher ups" walked by and when they said "Would you mind giving me a hand with some of these photo copies?". I should have hit stop on the bluetooth right then, which would have stopped the built in media player on the phone but I just took out the earbuds. Then loaded up my hands up with some of the photo copies.

The funnier image was me in the elevator with a handful of photocopies in both hands, realizing I would be going out of range. At around 2nd floor I'm franticly pressing the stop button on the bluetooth and hoping that my pressing of the stop botton on the bluetooth was actually reaching back down to the first floor.

There is a Java app called MSI BluePlayer that lets you stream mp3 music to your bluetooth headset.. but I think it only works with their stereo headsets, but its worth a try.

http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?...131&prod_no=110

(scroll down, you will see the Java version at the bottom.. it lists support for Sony Ericsson K750i/W800i/W550i/W900i/W810i)
