MPST how-to question

I have a telus k1m and although I can access most files with bitpim, there are a couple to which access is blocked by provider. I can see them but not access them. P2K commander doesn’t see the blocked directory I’m interested in.

I have access to PST v7.23 and have it connected properly following WIKIHOFO instructions. I have read that PST will be able to see and have access to these things.

My question is how to find and save a copy of this file to my pc. Can someone point me to some info on how to use this program? Is there a way to view the file system with PST similar to BitPim? I am a little leary of frying my phone.
