I'm getting several a week. In an exclusive non-3G area.

Anyone else experiencing this problem???

YES, oh god!

I thought it was just me, I thought it was restricted to the Los Angeles market, or quite possibly that Cingular's service just started sucking out here all of a sudden.

I've had the phone for 3 months, and in the past month or so I can't seem to hold a conversation in its entirety. Sometimes it worse, maybe a few seconds sometimes it's a few minutes. Other times I have no problem.

I reset the BlackJack to factory defaults in an attempt to resolve the problem, no dice.

I'm in the Los Angeles area, Antelope Valley to be more specific.

so for 2 months it was fine and then it started acting up? Smells like network changes to me

In all fairness, it seems to be recent for me, although I have had an occasional dropped call from time to time. The real problem seems to be more recent. I have had the phone since November.

I live in Jonesboro, Arkansas and have heard we are in the process of getting 3G. It's interensting that I haven't had this problem with my v3xx.

I get one every so often but not enough that I think its a problem. I am in a 3G area 90% of the day and don't have problems there so I don't think it is 3G related.

If anything I agree with mbranscum and think its more recent then anything.

I have been getting a lot in the RDU area. Never had a dropped call on Suncom, then move over to Cingular and I must have had 20 dropped calls in the past 60 days?
