Help with SE w810i

When I choose the "record sound" feature on my phone it exits the feature after a couple of seconds without recording the sound/s whatsoeva. Has anybody else experienced this or be able to give me some advice to fix this problem?

What version firmware do you have? Is your memory card full or phone memory?
