Any alternative for Piscel Viewer on Blackjack

I hate Piscel viewer, its crap in my opinion, takes ages to load. Useless for PDF or TXT need to scroll/zoom constantly to make any sense out of the page.
Can anyone suggest how to install another viewer and make that as the default for JPG, GIF, PDF, TXT and maybe even DOC, XLS too ?
