I bought a replacement k800i Lens but its missing the foam padding the original had. What the heck?
here is a picture of original, you can see the foam padding it has. I got the OEM one from cnn and it's just plain in the back.
THanks for looking, answers/help on what I should do is highly appreciated.

Is it possible to take off the padding on the old lens and stick it on the new one?

They don't, and never include foam. You need to do it yourself, with some foam you can buy, or take like a exactoknife or something thin and sharp and peel it off and transfer it off. If you don't expect a lot of dust on the LCD.

what do you think I should get.
It seems pretty thin prolly around 1/8" or so, what do you guys think?
