Razor V3 Drivers?

Sorry if this has been asked as ive searched and couldnt find the exact same problem. I got Motorola's Phone tools( T-Mobile for what its worth) and installed it. Windows and the software i guess recognizes this as a usb modem and when i run MPT it tells me the phone isnt connected.
ive tried the EU Driver installation v2.62 with no luck either. is there any easy way to do this? im computer savvy for sure, but i dont like sitting on hold with motorola for hours...............ugh
