HERE
you can make animated screensaver with your text on it.

Cool idea, but I am not putting it on my phone, because it has the site address at the bottom, and for me, that pretty much ruins the screensaver.

Thanks for the link though.

I use it as wallpaper, and URL pretty much covering by "music" button

Kewl! I cropped the URL out of it:

Granted it may not be the hardest thing in the world but everything is relative my friend. If someone has never attempted to do something before it doesn't necessarily mean that it was due to the difficulty. Maybe they weren't aware it could be done, or didn't know what was required or the steps to take.
It was simply a question posed out of curiosity so there's no need to be cynical; we're all here to learn.

Regards..

A less-expensive alternative to crop the pictures would be with Irfanview or Google's Picasa, both free.

Hey Kolero,
I haven't used Irfanview in ages. My initial question above was about cropping the gif image. I've got quite a few programs (including Photoshop) that I can use for cropping jpgs but can Irfanview crop animated gifs and maintain the animation? I'm not that savvy with PS and haven't experimented with gif cropping at all. Just curious if you've tried it.

Thanks.

Oops, my bad. I completely forgot that it was an animated wallpaper. I have no idea if irfanview can crop a gif and maintain the animation.

I just did a quick google search for "crop animated gif" (no quotes) and this very easy tool came up: GIFWorks It's free, nothing to download or install and after a quick test, it seems to work okay.
