Kind of a rant but its not too bad. I work at an agent in a shopping manor and over lunch I eat at some of the places close by. Now I like to enjoy lunch, but half the time I get their employees asking questions of all sorts about their phones/plans. It has turned out to be a good thing with a few new activations and several walkin features (which I love), but sometimes a guy just wants to chill and have lunch. When they come to my store on their lunch break, I don't ask them to make me a footlong!

Also my friends get to me all the time wanting me to "hook them up" with some free texting and crap!! GRRR...lol oh well comes with the territory right?

Its a hazard of the job! But trust me we all know what you mean. I just give them a couple answers and my card and tell them to come see me at work and I will be more than happy to give them more information. Usually shuts them up.

The post is kind of confusing but I think you have a good attitude! My suggestions would be to go with it and pass(the crap) out some cards while talking phones... people love to have people. As far as other times when needing a break take the name tag off(metaphorically) and go somewhere incognito!

Sorry. I was rambling a bit.

"crap" = they want a phone (pda, RAZR usually) that someone as "traded in"....lol we don't take used phones, well we do have a donation box...

Certainly they do, I always ask the FedEx dude if he/she has any extras rolling around in the "back of the truck"

I don't suggest anyone doing that because it's basically an insult, but it can be funny especially when they grab a handful of bagels on the way out!

I wore a branded shirt once on a flight home for christmas. I always show up to the airport at least an hour early like you are "supposed" to(of course it only took me 15 minutes to get through security).... worst mistake I ever made. Eventually I just pulled out my laptop and put my headphones on.

Oh I hate that! I had to go and get a perscription filled once, and the pharmicist started asking me about her account and her plan and all this other crap. Here I am, coughing up a lung and dripping just wanting my meds! Im off the clock, no time for this!

No the worst ones are the EX customers. "Man, Cingular F*cked me over! said I owe them 400 dollars. I'm with Tmobile now. F*ck Cingular!" I'm thinking "Do i know you? So why are you talking to me? Maybe if you had paid your bill it wouldnt have gotten that high!" But all i do is smile.

And its most likely some overage, and then they didnt pay, and wait till it got shut off + ETF.. then collections
