I just bought a 1G micro SD card for my LG CU500. when i go to check memory and then memory card, it says card not ready... i also tried to put stuff on it using bluetooth from my computer to phone and it also says card not ready. i was told that you have to format them but usually the device will do it automatically... any ideas/advice? thanx

Viewed 216 times I love my LG CU500 phone but I noticed if I power off and power on the phone, it won't read my micro SD card any longer. I reseated the card, no change. I would have to try power on and off several times, then it recognized the card. the error is "card not ready" this has happened a number of times.. if I leave my phone powered, everything is fine.
any others report similar issues?

scroll down to #4 port setting and click ok
scroll down to #4 mass storage and click ok
scroll down to #5 mass storage remove and click ok

another fast way to get the phone to recognize the card is the shuffle trick, press MENU 1 1 3
and my wifes phone does this from time to time.

cingular/at&t recived an update from LG about a month ago that fixes this damn card issue and also allows it use 2 gb cards. They just havent bothered to push it to us the consumer yet. Im guessing due to the cu500V being released. Supposidly they are going to send the update soon.
