but is it possible to unlock a Sidekick 3 and use only the voice and txt messaging portion of it on the Rogers network in canada?

I believe so. Since it will be unlocked you could only use the voice and texting only anyways. I don't see why it wouldn't work on Rogers..

Only tmobile can unlock it.. And you have to be a customer for 3 months to unlock it.. And oh yea tmobile doesn't unlock sidekicks no more...

No, you cannot get it unlocked. TMobile will not unlock Sidekicks. It's pretty useless to have it without data because without it connecting to Danger's servers, you will lose all your contacts etc. when the battery dies.
