I tried to take them off carefully, but they became smooth after very little, and I was wondering if there was any other way I could take out the two TORX screws on the very bottom of the w810. Can I soder them to meld off or soder them to meld, and then put a screwdriver head in there so I can turn it?

I bought a white housing on ebay, it is VERY nice, appears to be exactly the same as the one on cnn.cn, but I bought it for 10 dollars, 14 after shipping.

Did you use a torx driver to try to loosen them or just a small p2 screwdriver?

You could get some needle nosed pliers and try to take them out, but you're not going to be able to solder anything onto them, and you're definitely not going to be able to melt them...

I used a torx driver to begin with, the one that came with my faceplate. I was thinking that I could solder a metal rod to the end of them or something and then use that to unscrew it.

Doing so might cause damage to your phone.

Maybe super glue it or something.
