Actually most of the gophones in my experience have a pretty slow start up (pantech being the quickest). |

While the earpiece volume on the c417 isn't the loudest I've found it to be much easier to hear as opposed to the razor. |

I am unimpressed with this phone -- It takes holding the END key twice as long as the V551 to turn it on and off. And, when you turn it on, it takes forever for the noisy animation to finish. I then see no signal, then full bars --- and then says "searching" -- before it finishes the backlight goes out. Activate the light and it continues with "Please Wait". Boot up time is 45 sec to 2+ minutes! Is this normal for this phone? -- and for MOTOs in general? I find the UI less friendly than the NOKIA for Mom. I asked over in the MOTO forum, but got no response....maybe someone here can advise? |

It didnt come with instructions or a manual, so I have to ask: There's a little pacman with a 1 next to it to the right of the time. What is that indicator? |
