Anyone else had problems with Pilkon

I do not want to lay any unwarranted aspersions against what I am sure is a successful and legitimate operation, however I must say that to date my experience with Pilcon has not been completely positive. On the 8th March I ordered a Bluespoon Panther Edition, which their website stated was in stock. I emailed them daily to check on its status to no avail and it was not until I emailed them saying that it had already been charged to my credit card did I elicit a response albeit it in a slightly abrupt tone saying that it had NOT been charged to my card and that Due to "hold ups" with Nextlink it would not ship for a few days. I received an email on the 13th saying it had shipped by, and I quote "When ordering in march Pilcon offer´s you 100% free Shipping with DHL 48-hour Express Service ? worldwide." My credit card has been charged for the purchase so understandably now that it is the 22nd of March in my part of the world, (in the South Pacific islands) I am rather concerned that it is yet to arrive. Further upon entering the DHL airwaybill tracking number I was given by Pilcon on the DHL website I was given the following information:

So it seems the shipment went from Europe to South America and back again and has not even come within 12 timezones of my part of the world. As per the above, emails requesting information regarding the status of the order from Pilcon are yet to warrant a reply.

I realise this is a novella length diatribe but as I understand that these fora are monitored by the likes of Nextlink et al I thought I might ask for your learned comment. Or am I just whining about nothing.

Grateful for any input on the matter.

I had only excellent experiences with Pilkon and it more looks like DHL has trouble finding you!
I would email Michael Olsen (mo@pilcon.com) who is member of the management at Pilkon. I am sure he will find a solution to your problem.

Yes I must admit that I should make allowance for the fact that it may be a DHL problem. I must also concede that I am fairly new to making such pruchases online so I may not be making the necessary allowances for shipment times and inadvertent errors. However, the previous few purchases I have made involving similar items delivered by DHL have been quick to arrive. Nevertheless I have emailed DHL about the problem. I have also emailed Michael Olsen and hope to hear from him soon. Of note also is that all my references above to tardily answered emails to Pilcon, were in fact to Mr. Olsen. I realise he must be a busy man and hope that this time I will elicit a speedier reply and resolution of this matter. Thanks for your input though. It is good to know that this may just be an abberation, and, as I said, that as a newbie to such online purchases I may just be concerning myself about nothing.
