I'm having problems useing Bitpim 9.10 and lgvx8100 v.7.. Bitpim detects phone useing BT conn. but wont get data from phone. The thing is; my other vx8100 v.4 and bitpim 9.4 worked good at downloading ringtones and everything. i'm useing the same minisd card with all the working Pix,Mp3s and sounds from the earlier 8100. What do you think i should be checking into.

you only need bitpim for the ringers and the phone book or calendar you don't need bitpim for the card and music or wallpapers

if bitpim and the phone won't connect, that has nothing to do with the card

check the port and data settings on the phone, in the 'hidden service menu'
make sure you are on USB at the correct speed

if that don't work try using the old version of bitpim

if your connecting but can't read the data from the card..? reformat the card

and use a card reader for the data transfer, much much faster

we have 2 lg8100 ver7 and i have NO problems with bitpim conecting to the phone
