So being me I killed my w900i...

A while back i purchased a pretty beat up w900i so i really wanted to change the housing. I ordered a non oem housing from ebay and began the process. Now i think i damaged the flex cables. The bottom always lights up but the screen doesnt soemtime the screen will work with no backlight. Can anything else be the problem besides the cables? also i kinof took of the cables and not sure whick one goes which. thank for any help. i might buy new ones from cnn.cn but before i do see if theres any options i have, Anybody also know any cell repair places in LA? thanks

this is what i get for having no patience i blame only myself haha well my other one is on the way but i dont want this oen to go to waste haha oh please pm if you have flex cable u can sell me

I had the same problem. The keypad light will always be on. Does your LCD work or no?

www.cnn.cn has the oem flex cable for $8.99 if thats all you need might want to check it out good luck on your repair

One time teh lcd was on displaying everything and i was like yay i did it then i put the phone back together and it didnt work thge back light wouldnt turn on so now it's either not on at all or no back light.

yup i saw those just try to see how many i should order haha...if anyone has some i rather buy from hof cuz then shipping doesnt take forever
