Having problem on restore backup???

Hi guys, I'm having problem on restoring my backup file. I'm using sycn station with Windows 2000. Once I tried to restore, there is a pop up which say that my phone is not connect properly when checking files on my phone. I tried so many times. What was happen, any tricks???
