Hi, im new here and i just bought a gu87 i was wonder what software there is to upload and edit phonebook and upload pictures and ringtone and all that stuff? like nokia's logo manager. is there some kind of data suite that you would recommand?

The only one I know is Handset Manager.

There was one available called edit tool but apparently it was panasonic software that had leaked and all serving sites have been taken down but it was free and all you needed was the data cable. I do not know what is available to users in the US at the moment

As with the edit tool, it was the property of Panasonic and should not have been on the web at this time. However, there is to be a tool to perform the issues as requested but it is not known at this time if we will release a "generic" tool or have a third party developed tool for release.Stay tuned...

I hope the come out with a program that is will work via an IRDA port on the computer. Since I exchanged my 7210 for the GU87, I will miss using the Nokia Suite 5 to do my phone book and stuff.

Seems like the program I saw to do stuff on the GU87 is with the USB data cable. Nothing for IRDA at the moment.

mobile action makes a usb data cable (MA-8310P )for the gx8x and it comes with the handset manager program... i believe the program will only work with the datacable
