how does it work? I mean are there any gsm charges or something? or does it work via GPRS?

i have one of these Bluetooth GPS units. But there are no maps fo rthe P800 that will work that I know of. The GPS works great on a Pocket PC - even talks directions. I can't wait for a GPS map on the P800.

We should all write to Mapopolis....

...and urge them to make a version of their product for the P800. They currently make mapping software for PocketPC and Palm platforms, compatible with the bluetooth GPS unit.

gene9,

Agreed. I also use Mapopolis with my Toshiba e740 with the Socket BT GPS, and love it! I have been looking all over for a mapping program to utilize the P800 and BT.

I will write Mapopolis today. I did write and ask them about the P800 about a month ago and their reply was that they have no current plans to suppor tthe P800. Maybe that will change if we all write them and they begin to see the popular success of the P800.

If anyone finds a P800 GPS Map solution, let me know. I will buy it.
