Got a question about getting a new phone

I'm currently under a two year family share plan and I was wondering if you can get a no phone if you extent your contract before your contract is up? My phone is cracked and I need a new one. I had this phone for about a year.

If you are past a year then yes if you forfit your NE2... I think you also have to extend your contract but I am not sure.
I am never getting a 2yr again, phones don't last me two years/ I don't want the same one for two... can't wait till august 08
