I personally agree with you about the spec. However the Pearl is not out, and there fore this thread is largely fluff and speculation for now. No need for some posters to yell at others about certian pieces of speculation and not others. If people want to discuss wifi, it does not bother me more any of the other BS speculation in the thread. |

The further along this thing is pushed, the less I want it, considering it's a phone that was released for T-Mobile nearly 14 months ago (despite the 8130's addition of video recording and GPS [crippled?]). Best case scenario, the phone comes out Nov. 8, and in two years when my contract's up again, it will technically be more than a 3 year old phone! Does this make anyone else uneasy, or are you all just good and used to Verizon being technologically behind the times? |

I read on blackberryforums.com that GPS will be enabled for 3rd party programs (someone heard this from a verizon business sales rep during a sales meeting or something). |

Keep to the Pearl. That's why we are all here. If we wanted to hear more rumors about google products we would go and find it.

I doubt they will include a "belt holster" or "sleeve" as the GSM Pearl's don't... but VZW might suprise us... |

Maybe you guys should post 6 more messages about relevance because that is what everyone wants to read... But maybe you could stop and think that this could be a major development for the software the pearl is going to run... Also... If this is a large annoouncement, maybe the pearl is being held up for it... But keep posting your snooty remarks... |

I just called the normal VZW Service and the Rep (John) originally said no info was available as to the release date for the Pearl. So then I asked about the 6800 when he went to look for that release date he found the Pearl and said it must have been loaded into their system this morning. He said the date for release for the Pearl via all channels was 11/8. We'll see.... |
