Need phone suggestions

Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm currently browsing around for phones. Right now I have a motorola v626 and it's pretty outdated. I need an updated phone preferably with a relatively good camera but it doesn't have to be the best. My wallet only allows me to go as far as $250-$300. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. Currently I'm thinking of the SE w810i.

First decide which carrier you are going to use. Look at the coverage where you will using the phone - where you live, work, play, travel, etc. Talk to family, friends, co-workers about who they use and how they like it and the coverage. No matter how good or cool or cheap or expensive the phone is, if you don't have coverage, all you have is a paperweight.

Pick the carrier, then pick the phone.

I agree 100%. If you are looking at a GSM provider then the w810 is a great phone and is quad-band meaning you more than likely won't have many problems reception wise that you wouldn't have with every phone(really long tunnels, exceptionally hilly areas, cellular dead zones, etc.). I've loved mine and the camera is surprisingly good.

Carrier/coverage aside..If not w810, then go for k550i, successor of the w810..well it should be

the k550i isn't a walkman phone, which is a pretty major feature of the w810. seems more like a k750 'successor' if you can even call it an upgrade.
