Hi all. I am a Cingular customer. I'm ready for a new phone. Features that are important to me are bluetooth and some 1MP+ capable camera built in. I need to buy it from Tigerdirect.com because that's where I have a gift certificate to.

I'm curious which is 'better'; Motorola's L7 SLVR or Samsung's T509.

The only plus to the Motorola I see is that it is quadband, however I don't need that feature.

PS: I'm looking to make a decision by the end of day Monday to allow enough time for me to receive the phone by the end of this upcoming week.

I am pretty sure the T509 only has a VGA (.3 mp) camera ... I'm assuming you'd be buying it unlocked.
And the L7 that Cingular sells is also only a VGA camera. I think the L7i (I think that's what it's called) that you can import now has a 1.3MP cam.

I really like my T509, great call quality and reception, and for a basic bar phone it's got a pretty nice screen.
I've used an L6 and the only thing I didn't like about it was the CSTN screen but it also was a solid phone with great reception and audio quality.
Battery life is pretty good on both of these handsets.

But if you want 1 MP cam or better, you may want to look elsewhere.
