Will flashing v551 re-lock unlocked phone?

Hi guys......I have an unlocked V551 with the following software:

S/W R47_G_08_17_25R
Flex GSPSAN2RGR01NA081

I would like to upgrade it to improve the performance.....will an upgrade re-lock my phone, or will it stay unlocked? Which files do YOU guys trust?

I used to upgrade mu older V60, but that was a while ago, and I'm out the loop.

Only if you use a flash that locks the phone.
Check "http://www.motomodders.net" for the right Flash/Flex files
Currently the best is the Rogers Monsterpack as far as I am concerned and it does NOT lock your phone.
