I just got 7 Motorola Razr V3.XX's - FOR FREE!

So I have been on this forum for a little while reading about the different phones and technology, and decided to get the Razr V3xx... This is how it happened...

My whole family (7 people, 2 different plans) were out at the mall to get cingular. Originally only me and my brother were going to fork out the extra $$$ to get the Razr V3xx, while the remainder of my family opts for the free ones. The sales guy slipped and told us that Best Buy is giving the Razr V3xx's for free. (When we checked best buy afterward, they didn't even have the V3xx). Once I heard that, naturally I was like

and the rest of my family decided to get the FREE RAZR V3 XX instead of the other crappy free phones. So we got 4 Silver and 3 Gold Razr's.

We also got accessories for 50% off due to a USPS employee discount (Bluetooth headsets, car chargers, carrying cases for all!) And we get 25% off of our monthly bill. On top of that, there was a little problem during activation (relating to some kind of deposit) so the sales rep told us he would reimburse us the activation fees. He was a cool dude!

(I have already created my own ringtones, learned motorola phone tools, and am waiting for my 1 GB stick!) I'd say cingular got pwned pretty badly...

So do you see/hear any differences between the Gold and Gray phones?

They are the exact same phones with the exact same SW. Only they are in 2 colors from Cingular now. Nothing more.

So the gold one doesn't have a different hinge or usb cover than the gray one?

the usb cover is different... its GOLD instead of GRAY.. just kidding. other than that no difference, and no notable difference on hinge either.

As djdownhill stated, there are no differences in software. There is a redesigned hinge (no visible spot where the internal camera is on the international version - also less wiggle when closed than the gunmetal) and the USB cover extends out slightly longer.
