Caller ID blocking

Is there a way to block caller id information from being sent to the next person I am calling but only for the next call? I haven't been able to find this feature in Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphones, and I have seen it almost every regular phone I have used.

*67 before the number?

Try #31# before your number. It has worked for most cell phones I've had on Cingular anyway. Just tried it and it worked on with a 3125.

Thank you for the responses. So, I guess there is no option in the GUI to perform this function?

Not sure about what you are asking but #31# before the number you are dialing will read out on the callers end as a private number or id blocked. Next time you dial out and do not put in the #31# your number will read out on the other end and will not be blocked. If you are asking if you can chose that from a drop down menu instead of doing it manually, I would answer no.

Use *31# then press Send. If it says successful, then you have changed your line to blocked. To unblock, just type #31# then press Send. Works on all Windows Mobile phones. You can put it in phone numbers in your contacts as well. It will work through soft resets as well.

Both *67 and #31# before dialing the number will block your telephone number showing on the receiver's telephone. I use this on my T mobile Dash.
