New COU phone question

Well I start monday at a cor. cingular store and i got an email from my manager saying he was going to order uniform, business cards, phone, etc. and i was wondering what he meant by phone. For the COU line does he pick what kind of phone i am going to use? I was hoping to get a 750 or 8800 as i have used pda phones for the past few years but i obviously dont know how this works yet so hopefully some one here can answer my question. Thanks

Normally your phone is dependent upon market and how much the management likes you.

basically u order a phone, your manager approves it, then it goes to the district manager for approval, then one more time to their boss.... so its not just your 1 manager liking you... its the whole way up..most everyone in my store has either a blackjack or a Pearl... they want us pushing data. but before that we all had razors
