Can somebody post precise T-Mobile Settings for NEW YORK?

I've followed Bengal Boy's instructions to the letter, but still have some problems here and there connecting. As he says, he can only guarantee these settings work with T-Mobile in ALABAMA. Was wondering if someone could post the definitive settings for the New York City area. Don't need it in pics, but rather like the post on AT&T Rogers in Canada would be great. Thanks.

I'm using T-Mobile here in NYC & had the phone just pick up settings automagically. Works great for me, including full-fledged HTTP via WAP (which pleases me immensely). I'd advise letting the GPRS set itself up automatically.
Of course, you have to have a valid GPRS account activated to make it all work...

I don't have a P800 but this works for my T68i and I have traced through the screens for the P800, it looks as if it will work. Go to SE's P800 support site:

Chose Global Support and pick what you want to configure, fill in the screens and wait for the message. Hope this will work for you.

Although Bengalboy's instructions worked well for internet access on Tmobile in NYC, I had to use the SE site mentioned by easyrotor to get MMS to work in NYC. I also used the WAP configurator for the heck of it, and WAP access works as before.

I also got the Web and MMS to work using the Ericsson Global site. Try it out, it made it relatively easy.

I could however not get it to work for email. I would like to use my local Cable provider supplied email address, but would be happy with any address.

Any one got any ideas?

I went in and downloaded the configs, they do seem to be working. Regarding the email question above, I have Comcast cable internet and have the email working no problem. That was actually the easiest thing to set up. Go into the control panel, then messaging accounts, new. Basically all you need to put in is your inbound and outbound email server addresses (i.e. mail.comcast.net and smtp.comcast.net) and your mail ID and password and you're on your way.

I would check to make sure your provider doesn't require authentication (mine does - works fine on the P800) and that they allow you to use their POP3/SMTP servers when you are not on their connection.
