just like the title says.i am looking for an app to put on my dash that will allow me to have my homescreen backgrounds change to another at a specified time. i think i remember someone talking about an app that does this. please help me find it

Take a look at John Cody's Alerts (www.omnisoft.com) Has a lot of features and can start/run a program. Not sure if it can do what you want but worth a look if you haven't already. AutoFlight is another that works well but has less features than Alerts (http://inputshow.googlepages.com/index.htm) but works as advertised.
