Hi guys. I got my Exchange Server running today at work and wanted to have direct push setup on my Dash as well but can't seem to get it to work. In the Dash under where it has the option to enter the server address it won't hold my settings...not sure if it's supposed to or not. The external server address for OWA is something like this https://123.456.789.1011/owa. I can hit that from the web on any pc but the Dash won't take the https or the /owa. How can i get this setup on my Dash?? Thanks in advance
[edit] I think actually it's using and address more like this "mail.mycompanydomain.com but that still doesnt work either[/edit]

i think you have to use a fqd. and dont use ssl, unless u have added a root cert to your dash. we are still testing exchange 07(easier to manage for us admins) at work, and having no problems on my MDA.

hmm. i was using the fqd as well, still no luck. that was the "mail.mycompanydomain.com" i was speaking of. Does the MDA run WM5? I was actually reading an article that said Exchange 2007 isn't compatible with WM5

weird but i can't even get it to work on outlook from a pc other than when i'm connected to my network that the exchange server is on. am i missing a step in exchange or IIS here? not sure if i'd be asking this question in the right place though lol.

You should have posted this in my massive Exchange server forum. Right now, the FQDN you entered is correct but I believe you don't have external resolution of your domain and/or IIS is not configured correctly. Exchange 2007 will synchronize with WM5 devices just fine. Also if you use a VPN, you may want to use a VPN to the Exchange server on the HTC Excalibur.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.1.7196/1630; en; U; ssr))
what do u mean external resolution? i believe my certs are setup up correctly but im not sure. i got my outlook to finally work internally but still not externally
