I have a Treo 680 right now and love having a hybrid phone. My previous phone was a Samsung D900 and loved that too but needed more features. I like the features on my Treo but need more battery life. I've been looking at the Blackberry Pearl and the Blackjack. Anyone have any reviews / feedback on these; and/or any other suggestions?

I heard the pearl has poop for batt life, so I'm somewhat skeptical.

You really need to tell us what carrier you are going to use. Pick that and then someone could give you their thoughts. Are you staying with CellOne? Look at where you live, work, travel, go to school, etc. See what works best there. Once you decide on the carrier, pick the phone.

As for battery life, I can say for sure that the life of the BJ standard battery is vest short, especially if you are in and out of 3G (on the fringe). I have heard that the BJ is now shipping with the extended battery. Not sure about the Pearl. It really depends on what you do with it and how you use it.

You could also just buy the extended battery from Seidio for the 680 since you like it, comes with the battery and the battery cover

Im using Cingular. And i'll have to look into the extended batt life battery.

Edit: I couldn't find the extended batt on seido.com, doesn't even show accy for Treo 680

The blackjack has a poor battery life, its pretty good but I need the battery to hold a little longer. The BB pearl its pretty nice, though it doesn,t have windows mobile so that a big con and the keyboard u have to get use to it. I think maybe you should try the Cingular 8525, its pretty nice, very easy to use, good battery life for a pda and it has a good call quality.

I think im going to get the Treo 750, but i still dont know.
