hi,
i have a pantech pg 8000 that i unlocked to use with rogers network. it works perfectly fine, except when i try to send a picture message or go on the internet, it says "Network Error". is there any way to fix this?

The phone does not have the proper internet settings.
That is also why you cannot download games/ringtones from rogers.

If you can find where to input them here are the settings:

Primary IP: 208.200.067.150
Primary Port: 9203
Secondary IP: 208.200.067.151
Secondary Port: 9201
APN: goam.com
Username: wapuser1
Password: wap
HomePage: http://mymobilehomepage.rogers.com/

i am stuck. there are places in the phone that look like its where those settings could go, but i've tried and its not working. first i tried the settings rogers gave me, then i tried yours...i dont think i'm putting them in the correct place. let me know anything else you might know pls.

i think you can OTA the settings from the Sony Ericsson or Nokia site to the pantech, it should work

what do you mean by OTA? you gotta break it down for me! lol! and i'm with Rogers, so how can nokia or sony help?

get standard settings, select like 6230 or something, then canada, then rogers wireless, then follow the directions, it describes in the manual about doing this in my pantech and it works

when i go to the page and select that phone, another page opens and says united states as the country...it wont alllow me to change it to Canada or anything else....?

try another nokia then, you should be able to select a country, I was able to
