Questions about billing with PDA.

Right now i have a plan with 3 phones and 1400 minutes. i believe with the 2 phones its 89.99.
I am switching my line (not the primary) to a samsung i730. I was interested in possibly getting the data plan (which is 44.99). By doing so, i wouldnt need the vcast pak ($15) and if i can get the 2000 text messages for exchange servers (i believe this phone is still eligible) then i wouldnt need my $20 text plan. Am i missing anything? would it make more sense to switch our account to the voice and data 1350 and add two lines? can i even do that?
help!
