Hi, I'm fairly new to the Motorola modification stuff. I have seem edited, but that is all.

I have an L7 SLVR with Cingular, with Firmware 4517 (25R). I would like to know:

1. Can I get the "Cingular" banner off of the phone?
2. Can I get it to use ringtones from the memory card?

For #1, I've tried Skiman, and it just really messes up the whole skin. For #2, I know that there are firmwares to do this, but I don't know which ones, where to get them, and if they work with 4517, let alone 25R.

I've looked around, but all the threads here on this seem quite old, and I've spent a few days looking now. If anyone could elaborate on this or at least point me somewhere that can, I would appreciate it.

I have bigsmoka monsterpack on mine 4517 25R. works great. allows keypad lock. no cingular branding.
