tmobile mda no MMS on suncom

I have tried every possible setting Suncom.com has given and even experimented on my own but i am still unable to send or recieve MMS on my unlocked tmobile MDA/Wizard.
Does anyone have any ideas. Will Flashing the 1.8 tmobile rom to an htc k-jam rom fix this or turn my phone into a brick?
