hey everyone, I've searched high and low and can't find a housing for my nokia 6265i. I am interested in getting the black housing however I don't know where to look for it. I've tried ebay and all I get is those stupid clip on cases, I want the original nokia case, I've tried Cnn.cn but all they have is the 6280 and the 6278, they only have the front faceplate and the back battery door, i also need the antenna cover. If anyone knows where I can get the original housing I'd really apprciate it. Thanks for the replies.

Try to search with 6268, a variant in the series. But cnn.cn does not have the full black housing http://cnn.cn/shop/nokia-6268-c-24_191.html

Tessco.com has these pieces. They must be the original pieces, they sell them with a Telus logo imprinted, for example. They are incredibly cheap too.

However, they won't sell to the general public. I have emailed asking for distribution in the Toronto area.

My 6265i is really new, so I'd actually like to try the Nokia repair center in Newmarket, and hopefully pay them to install the two back covers for me. Anybody know how if I'm likely to be successful with that plan?

I'll post my Tessco answers....if I get any....

Have any of you tried www.cellulardr.com for parts?

Also, can any of you tell me where I can find a disassembly instructions for the 6265i.

Huh. They have the upper back cover. Cool. Telus will sell the battery cover. Looks like this gets me what I need - thanks!!

for the price of around 70 dollars i saw that site and passed.

Tessco only sells to nokia repair centers. I have a tessco account and begged them to sell me parts. I got lucky and someone sold me a waterdamaged black one for 20 dollars.
