8525 Threaded SMS

Yes another 8525 threaded chat thread. This one comes with a problem though, I had the Palm threaded program installed and it was awesome... but I would always get complaints about repeated text messages sent sometimes days later. Annoying. I try to uninstall it from the 'remove programs' menu. No go... it said it wasn't completely removed (not at all removed, really). I had to hard reset to get rid of it. Any ideas on that? Are there any options to fiddle with to fix it?
If not, what programs would you recommend?
