Has anybody figured a way to put ringtones on this phone yet? Can you use sound recorder on the computer to cut out the part of a song you want, change it to mp3 put it on the phone in your media folder and from there save it as a ringtone? What about making a voice recording on the phone and saving it as a ringtone? I know kids that that do this with their phones but they can't do it with mine.
It's a great phone except you can't make it do anything without paying out the whazoo for it.

do the kids have GSM phones? More than likely they do, as the GSM world seems to better support such user controlled features. The CDMA world is more into limiting those type of capabilites altogehter or or holding them captive to the proprietary networks.

Saturday I'm at a party and all the people were bluetoothiing ringtones back and forth. Well all but me. They mostly have alltel and cingular. I was odd man out since I had sprint. I asked how they got the ringtones and one told me she makes them. If she has the software to make ringtones for her phone can she make them and hook up my 8400 to her computer and put them on my phne? I have the cord to hook to the computer plus I can also put my card in a card reader and then to the computer.

I found a cheap computer program that lets you make ringtones on your PC and send to almost any phone. The program is call "Ring Factory" and you can get it online. I found it at a Target store of all places. Its simple and you can send real music to your phone or almost any one else you wish. FUN FUN!

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know the unlock code for Sanyo SPC 3100? I used in the states but now I have relocated to Fiji and would like to use a different network. Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks -
