P800 Questions - I want this phone!!

I would greatly appreciate any answers to my questions:

1) I am a Sprint PCS customer. How should I go about switching to the P800 if I live in VA? Which provider do you think is best? Anyone here from Virginia? Also, where is the best place to buy the phone at this time?

2) Is there a good way to know if there is service from my area for a certain provider? I live in a low-altitude area near the CIA headquarters! Sometimes, cell signal is bad from my house. SprintPCS is pretty weak unless I'm near a window, and my dad's Verizon phone is choppy as well. This leads to the 3rd question:

3) Is it possible to get a higher-powered antenna for when the phone is not mobile? I saw the antenna connector in the back and was curious if this was just for the car connector, or if there were other uses planned.

4) Lastly, this is just for curiosity's sake. Is there such a thing as a bluetooth fold-up keyboard (like one of those cloth things)? That would be sweet! It would really expand the PDA functionality, as the HR and keyboard systems on these devices have never been the fastest way of entering text. I'm just curious is all.

1) Since you're using Sprint PCS (CDMA Provider) you cannot use the Sony Ericsson P800 because it is for use with GSM Providers.

2) Check the forums and ask users in the carrier - specific forums whether they have good experiences with other carriers in your area.

3) AFAIK, there is no external antenna for the P800 because it's such a new phone and there isn't many accessories for it (yet).

4) I haven't seen a bluetooth keyboard. I know I'd love a BT keyboard for my Palm Tungsten T ---- however, since the BT keyboard would be wireless and not supporting the PDA, how would you prop up the PDA for easier viewing?

Well, for one I could think of this type of thing.

I'm not sure why I wanted something bluetooth. You don't really need that I suppose. something like this Logitech thing would be great, and pretty easy to rig up if you ask me. All that the company would have to do is change the connector and write some code.

One last question about the P800's visual options. Say I'm watching a video. Is it possible to change the orientation and watch with the phone held horizontally? Come to think of it, can I do that on anything other than the games I've seen?

Also, if you've made videos that are smaller than 208px wide, can you make them fill up the screen space, or are they played at their original sizes?

Thanks for your replies.
