I have a tmobile dash that has water damage. My question is, if i lie to tmobile CS about the water damage (red mark) how much will they charge me when they recieve my water damage phone in exchange for a refub.
Is this even worth to attempt and pay this fine?

i don't see how you can lie or get around it. corrosion is a obvious give away for water damage.

Back in the day, if you dried your gadget, opened it and cleaned the white residue (read rust or metal bleeding) of the board with something like alcohol you could get away with it.
However, they now get around that by implementing stickers and other things to measure moisture damage, so to make a long story short, you are basically f@cked.
The first thing they will do when they receive your unit is open it up. When they see the water damage sticker having changed colour, they will be quick to tell you so.
At that point your warranty is out the window and any other perks that went with it. You should expect to not only getting charged for the shipping but also pay full price for a replacement unit.
Anything beyond this would be out of pity or special consideration, but basically you would be on your own.
