is the 8125 covered under the insurance

I have the insurance on my line. Does that cover my new 8125?

No it is not. I would call them though they may cover it as you are paying for it but they will drop you.

As far I know Cingular will not insure PDA phones.

I had to go to my home insurance and ask them to insure my 8525 for an extra 6 dollar every 6 month on my bill with a 50 dollar detuctable if I file a claim againist 600 dollar to replace it.

Insurion, the company that provides insurance to Cingulars customers, offically does not offer insurance on any of Cingular PDA devices.

That being said, since the rep who sold you the device, or updated it to your account, didnt remove the insurance at the time you added it, you would probably get it covered this one time, then they will remove it from your account.
