I got an 8525 from my brother and I haven't switched to cingular yet. The phone is unlocked and I can use everything but the GPRS. I've set the APN to cellular1wap and it connects but fails to load anything.

So I called cellular one and they told me it was because "their engineers haven't approved that phone so it doesn't work on their network."

There has got to be around this, can anyone help me? Thanks

I figured it out. I changed the APN to cingular1wap and the WAP Proxy setting to the mentioned IP address. Works great now. Is this the order of the signals from slowest to fastest:

G(GPRS), E(Edge), and 3G?

I know I can't get 3G with cell one but I was just wondering if that was the order.

When will Att/Cingular buy them out!?!?!?!
