I'm using that method but I can't figure how to connect the phone with XS++

any steps?

when I hold c and connect the phone, it say failed open, but I can't use the USB drive

Can you cut and paste or take a screenshot of the phoneXS window so we can see exactly what's going on?

well.....I press start, held c, then connected the USB, then a windor pops up sayng that failed open, but my auto-play for phone memory will open

okay I got to install the USB flash drive, and then I removed the phone and plugged it again, this time it said the device is open, but I don't get the other things, like flash this and that thing it just said port is active

I can finally connect the phone and everything, and now I'm just flashing the FS/MAIN but it seems like it's taking so long....I thought it would be fast

are you flashing both the Main and the FS? Are you going to debrand your phone? If you are, you should not check "Customize File System" in XS. What Main are you using? you should only be using w810_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw for your Main and your suitable FS file.

yeah I was using a generic MAIN I got from fungied.cheese so maybe that's why

dude you really need to familiarize yourself with exactly what you're doing.. be informed, do lots of reading before jumping into anything...

I figured out how to copy files to FAR, but it seems like the phone isn't debranded properly, I don't get the features I think I was getting, such as setting MP3 as ringtone, no shutter sound in silent mode,

but I think the hissing sound is more obvious now, although I don't get cracking sound at high volume anymore
