Hello, I was upgrading my Cingular 8525/Hermes to the wm6 vanilla rom, at about 24% of rom being updated, the usb cable was accidently unplugged from my device

I hooked it back up and nothing happened tried restarting the process but it gives me a "ERROR [262] UPDATE ERROR" message and my PDA screen stays at 0%

When I try Soft Reseting or Master Reset, it will try to load I see red letters on the HTC boot

M 05
S 04 NO GSM (appears for like 1 sec.)
B 06 D 3.22.0.0

when NO GSM apears, the red words clear and it stays frozen on the HTC boot screen screen goes bright and the just stays there. What happened, how can I fix this, please someone help me. This phone was expensive. I've tried going to XDA website for help but it looks like their server is down. Thanks in advance.

That sucks, you should have used the v.20 version with the .exe file that automatically does everything for you when it downloads...mine works flawlessly! Good luck though...

Guy, the WM6 Vanilla installation does everything for you too. I had both on my phone at one time.

The issue is that he unplugged the usb cable half way. Same could have happened to you if you had done the same.

Anyway, the links posted previously are good. Take a look, do some reading and let us know how it goes.

hey download the original cingular rom files from the htc website and run it, or if you dont get to at least 1% after trying it for like 10 minutes copy the .nbh files from that rom by opening it with winrar to explore it and pasting it to replace the .nbh files from the the wm6 vanila extractor. this fixed a phone for me after a customer bricked it
