8525 Storage Critical

I keep getting a Storage error pop up on my 8525. My storage card still has about 75% of its space left and the phone memory flucuates between 25-51% available. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I turn off my phone over night every 2-3 days.

Also, in an attempt to free up additional space I deleted my received test messages. Does anyone know a way to select all and delete? I had to do them individually which was a pain.

Thanks

You might try going into PIE and then to "memory" and delete both "history" & "delete files". This will free up space.

PIE = Pocket IE by the way.

I just drag my finger or my stylus all the way down the list to highlight/select them all at once, then delete.

We are talking about IE's history and temporary files. If you browse a lot this eats up a ton of memory.

It sure does...I did this the other day and was astounded at how much device memory it free up....you might also want to change the days that it keeps those cookies stored....might want to adjust it down....
