TyTN Windows Connection Issues

I have a TyTN and, despite using a couple of different "TyTN" USB cables, I cannot get Windows to recognize my device, therefore can't download. I sync with Exchange Server wirelessly, so that's not a problem, but I can't hook up to my PC to download software. This happens with XP as well as Vista. Any suggestions/ideas?
