O.K. I'll admit it...I'm the new guy.
I'm trying to replace a snapped off ant. on my startac. I have a replacement ant. with wrench (have done this fix before). However....this time the ant. snapped and left a piece inside the phone that I can't get out! So I have been able to partly remove the cover to get to the ant. tube and can't seem to get the cover off. (Without being too chicken to break something)
Any advise?

I have used them in the past and they're pretty good. You have to remove the screw-in part of the antenna before starting. The 3rd photo, which shows a screwdriver being used to pry up the ribbon cable is not quite right. On the ST7868W I had, you could lift a small flap and easily pull the ribbon connector off the circuit board. Prying with a screwdriver wasn't necessary. Earlier models may not have been like mine though.
