Ringtones and KRZR K1M

Hey there guys, I have the MOTOROLA KRZR K1M. I want to be able to use my own ringtones that I have downloaded or use my own music instead of downloading ringtones off the phone. I have no idea on how to do this. I have a transflash card and whenever I put it on there I cannot apply as ringtone unless I actually download.
How do I add ringtones to my KRZR k1m for free?
