8125 and Text Messages???

I'm trying to figure out how to send a text message. My only options are e-mail and MMS. I don't see an option for SMS.
How do you set up the 8125 for SMS?

I should be already set up on the phone already. Did you just buy the phone??

Actually, I've had the phone for a while, just haven't used it much. I did a hard reset because I sold it. When I go to messages, the only options are e-mail and MMS.

Maybe your using an older ROM version and probably need to do an update.
