T-Mobile Proxy and MSN Messenger

I've done some serious searching and can't find anything that answers this question so hopefully someone knows the answer:
Is there a program I can use to be able to use MSN Messenger while using the T-Mobile proxy tweak?
I've searched, dl'ed and tried a few IM clients but I can't get network settings for any of them and I'm not sure how they're actually connecting to the interweb.

The ports that messenger programs need are not supported by the proxy so you can not get it to work. Some people claim they can get aim to work, but I've never seen it.
